ISO PREP

You don’t luck into the next level. You train for it.

Iso Prep isn’t extra. It’s essential.
This is where serious players get real tools—skill, IQ, confidence—and test them in a competitive setting.
We don’t just prep you to play. We prep you to stand out when it matters.

If you’re trying to level up, this is where you start.

We don’t build highlight players. We build hoopers.

Iso Prep is where the excuses stop and the work starts.
One weekday session. One weekend session. Then we throw you into the fire with Iso League games every other weekend. Live reps where you have to think, move, read, and respond.

We teach spacing. Timing. Toughness.
We coach habits that actually translate.
We don’t teach kids to run plays—they learn to play the game.

This is how you earn your way to Team Iso.

  • Iso Prep focuses on elevating players’ abilities in areas such as:

Ball Handling | Mastery of dribbling under pressure, with both hands, and developing moves to beat defenders.

Shooting Mechanics | Improving shot form, range, and accuracy through repetition and individualized feedback.

Defense | Teaching both individual and team defense principles, with a focus on positioning, help defense, and footwork.

Passing & Playmaking | Emphasizing court vision, decision-making, and executing advanced offensive schemes.

Each session incorporates drills that simulate game situations, helping players translate these skills into real-game success.

  • Players in Iso Prep need to be physically prepared for the high pace and intensity of competitive basketball. This aspect of the program includes:

Strength Training | Focused on building core strength, explosive power, and injury prevention through bodyweight exercises and resistance training.

Speed & Agility | Incorporating ladder drills, cone drills, and reaction training to improve players' quickness and ability to change direction on the court.

Endurance Conditioning | Preparing athletes for the demands of a full game, especially in tournaments where they may play multiple games in a single day.

  • Iso Prep emphasizes the mental side of basketball, teaching players how to think and react on the court. This includes:

Game Strategy | Understanding offensive sets, defensive rotations, and situational basketball.

Film Study | Watching game footage to identify areas for improvement and to analyze opponents.

Basketball IQ Drills | Learning to read defenses, make smart decisions in fast breaks, and adjust to different game situations.

Players will engage in scrimmages designed to test and sharpen their game awareness and in-game decision-making.

  • Iso Prep fosters a strong sense of teamwork and leadership. Players will be challenged to:

Communicate on the court | Understanding their role in team schemes and how to effectively work together for a common goal.

Lead by example | Whether by hustling on defense or setting the tone with hard work during practice, players are encouraged to take responsibility for their team’s success.

Understanding Roles | Iso Prep helps players realize how they can contribute to winning from a variety of positions and roles on the floor.

  • Iso Prep is directly linked to preparing players for travel teams and the Jr. EYBL:

Tryout Preparation | Players will receive specific training geared toward excelling in tryouts, including working on drills and skills evaluated by coaches during these sessions.

Tournament Readiness | The focus will be on preparing for the rigors of travel basketball, where players compete against top-level athletes from other regions. This includes learning how to handle pressure in high-stakes games.

Exposure Opportunities | Iso Prep participants are given opportunities to compete in showcases and other events where they can be seen by coaches and scouts.
